Joshua Block
Worship Director
Joshua has a heart for leading the congregation to worship. He is honored to organize a team of dedicated volunteers who enjoy using their musical gifts to create engaging worship experiences. He enjoys using his musical abilities to draw people closer to God.
Joshua has a bachelor's degree in music education and a master's degree in elementary education. He teaches music at a local private school and leads a middle school rock band there. Joshua and his wife, Jenny, began attending Valley View in 2001 and were married there in 2002. He volunteered on the worship team, playing piano and singing, before leading the team in 2019. Joshua enjoys biking, hiking, and kayaking while taking in Arizona's beautiful scenery.
