What to Expect

Visiting a new church can be a challenge.  While we cannot take away all of the tension, we can let you know what to expect when you visit Valley View.  One thing is constant at Valley View.  We are committed to becoming the church God intended us to be.

Our Sunday service begins at 10:30 a.m. and is one hour long.  Our worship experience is a mix of powerful worship music and a relevant biblical message.  The music is contemorary and led by a talented band and worship team.  .

When you arrive you will notice that we have 4 convenient areas for parking.  No matter where you park, the walks all lead to a central courtyard.  There you can stop by First Contact for a visitor’s packet, information, and directions.  We also invite you to stop by the koinos cafe for a cup of coffee.  The cafe staff will be more than willing to give you the inside scoop on everything Valley View.

Dress is casual.  This is not a description of how we view our relationship with God or how we view God.  It is rather an intentional statement of how we view others. We want everyone to feel comfortable visiting our services.  Those who attend Valley view can be found wearing anything from shorts to suits to business casual.

We have a great children's program during the 10:30 am hour. Our new Director of Children's Ministry, Donna Anderson, is hard at work with our volunteers creating an exciting environment for children to get to know Jesus Christ on a personal level.  When you visit please take advantage of our nursery and age appropriate classes.

As you enter our worship center, you’ll be given a copy of our bulletin which has announcements about what is going on in our VVBC family. In the seats, you will also find an information card that you can fill out to request more information or prayer and drop it into the offering or hand it to one of our friendly ushers.

The service will begin with music and a greeting.  This is done to help break the ice and make everyone feel at ease.  This is usually followed with some singing and the opportunity to give. If you are a first-time visitor, we do not expect you to participate in the offering.  We do ask that you let us know how we can pray for you by placing your requests on a card (found in your seats) and placing it in the offering.

The Pastor will speak for 30 minutes and then after the final song, give some final words regarding the message and how it can be incorporated into your life.  We welcome you to meet with the Pastor up front after service to introduce yourself, ask questions about Valley View or find out how you can become a follower of Christ.  In addition, we have church members who will be available to pray with you and for your needs.
